A very scenic and historic location. Hike down to the creek and cross the pedestrian bridge and you can walk right down to the edge of the Hudson River. Great views of the Bear Mountain Bridge from multiple locations.

Great little museum and wonderful settings with amazing views of the Hudson and the nearby Bear Mountain bridge. Very nice reconstruction of what the 2 forts looked like. The volunteers were super helpful and there was a nice short introductory movie. We did not hike since we had limited time but we did take a stroll on one of the paths that goes under the Popolopen Creek bridge and then went on the bridge to take some pictures of the Bear Mountain Bridge. We will be back on a cooler day and explore the hiking paths.

Great but smal (but free)l museum building with dioramas and mannequins as well as numerous artifacts. By the way, it's carry in and carry out so don't look for a trash can. Worth a visit.

Nice trails will take you to various areas of the fort. The views of the Hudson are spectacular.
