Attended a great flower show... Grounds are great & usually open to the public, but even better when they put on an event in the main house- historic, beautiful & fun for all ages... Nice little fair vibe with a market on another section of the property. Best views of the Tappan Zee bridge & surroundings. Helpful staff, easy ticketing, parking, etc

The Spring Crafts (and its fall counterpart) at Lyndhurst perfectly blends the grandeur of a historic Gothic Revival estate with the intimacy of a world-class artisan market. I love that the curated selection feels more like an outdoor gallery than a standard fair, offering high-end, one-of-a-kind pieces you won't find anywhere else. The backdrop too of the mansion and views of the Hudson River make this far more scenic than a typical street fair.

It was a very pleasant and adventurous experience and the highlight of my walk through the Lyndhurst grounds was the historic bowling alley. The lady that greets the visitors was very nice, accommodating and very well informed regarding the historic significance of the bowling alley and I recommend that everyone visit the grounds and especially the bowling alley!!!

If you like architecture and history, this is a great 1 hour tour. We went during the holidays as it is decorated very nicely (over 50 Christmas trees and over 70 wreathes). The tour director was knowledgeable and the house and grounds are spectacular. Dress warm because you do talk a bit outside the house.

Fantastic special floral event that my honey surprised me with! What a lovely show at a special historic location. You know you’ve arrived when you have your own bowling alley…
