A peaceful and pretty park with well maintained hiking trails. The prettiest part is by the waterfalls. A deer crossed my path, but dog owners held dutifully their pets on leashes. I also learned there that a tree will one day fall down. That's unfair because it will leave all other trees still growing. See the picture. 😀

Its a beautiful park, with very well maintained trails. There is a small area perfect for swimming off of the perimeter trail (red trail). It does get busy on weekends and nice weather days though. The parking area is very small so you may have to park just outside of the designated park, prior to the single lane bridge.

Was a nice little hike for my little family. My toddler enjoyed herself and was even able to walk a good portion of it. Nice areas to sightsee as well

What a treat to have such a space right in my "back yard" ... the trails are always well maintained, and any of the staff I have encountered, be it at the booth, the welcome center, or on the grounds - have all been pleasant and easy to deal with.

The wildlife is really something you need to see to appreciate - especially with our hectic lives and surroundings ... Just go for a half hour and disconnect from the stress of the world ... it is uplifting.

This park is amazing. I have been going to this park since 2016 and it has especially been a respite for me during the years 2017--2020. This place is so beautiful and absolutely worth visiting at least once in your life if you visit this area (you should especially visit if you live in the area!), and the nearby area with the pavilion near the Mohawk River is worth visiting as well.
