The Ossining Train Station (Hudson Line) is structurally well maintained and clean. Trains are normally on schedule and arrive often.
During off-peak hours the trains themselves are old .
The station has electronic ticketing outdoors .

The Ossining Train Station (Metro-North Hudson Line) is structurally well maintained and clean. Trains are normally on schedule and arrive often.

I cannot say the same for the trains. During off-peak hours the trains themselves are old and depressing inside.

The station has electronic ticketing outdoors and no manned ticket booth for quite a few years now. However, during the week from 4:30 am to 12:30 pm there is a vendor offering coffee and snacks in the main waiting area atop the train platforms.

The rest of the time, the passengers wait on the train platforms which have one small waiting kiosk to protect passengers from eminent weather and it gets unhealthily crowded in extreme weather.

The kiosks in most other stations are not only larger but each platform has two separate kiosks 🤔

It's not bad, but much smaller than croton and has a nice view. The parking can get annoying at times.

It's a local and express station stop.

You can purchase your ticket on the train from the conductor.

Prices vary between peak and off peak times. Check the website for time listings, arrival and departures.
