One of the best places to enjoy a sunset. I just love this park to walk and clear my head, sit and look out on the water, enjoy a simple lunch while relaxing or attend concerts. Your littles will enjoy the playground as well. It is such a quiet and peaceful place with all the convenient beaches to sit along the waterfront.

A brand new fully fenced playground was installed July 2024. It's very bright and colorful and right on the Hudson River with stunning views. Lost a star as it doesn't have any bathrooms close by. Very peaceful. Kids enjoyed the features.

I was exploring new places on the Hudson River for good spots to fish when I came up on this out of the way quaint town just below the decommissioned Indian Point nuclear power plant. General George Washington and his troops camped here twice before ferrying his army across the Hudson in pursuit of the main body of British troops under Cornwallis and chasing them south to Yorktown, Virginia, where the British commander surrendered to the colonial army

I was there yesterday to attend a car show. This is a beautiful park with stunning views of the Hudson river.
