Great local park to fish, hang out, or watch trains and boats. The CSX River Subdivision runs right through the park and ups fairly busy. Metro North Hudson Ljne is across the Hudson and is very busy with commuter traffic, as well as Amtrak Empire Service trains. Please be safe and stay off the tracks, expect a train at any time, in any direction.

Nice place to relax and look at views. Been twice but never saw train go by here. Yet. Would be cool to see. Have a memorial and benches with some bbq pits. Ver quiet and secluded. Never really busy when I came

Mine Dock Park is a superb spot for train watching on the Hudson! You get amazing views, including the Bear Mountain Bridge. We caught multiple CSX freight trains.
A big tip for fellow railfans: these are freight trains, so there's no fixed schedule, but the action is frequent! Trains passed about 2 to 3 times per hour during our visit. Highly recommended for a day of railfanning and enjoying the stunning scenery.

Easy kayak access to the Hudson. Drive over the tracks, unload, then drive back over the tracks to park. Friendly helpful people there. Huge spot for trainspotters. They were Trainspotting across the Hudson. One paddler recommended a creek under a railroad bridge for gentle water.

Found this place while i was lost 😂😂 and i was really surprised. Nice quiet park, with tables and designated BBQ area. Beautiful views and breeze from the hudson river. Totally loved this spot and will definitely come back with friends for a weekend.
