Beautiful local spot for a simple and relaxing hike around the park. There’s plenty of parking, making it easy to visit any time of day. A great place to spend a few hours outdoors and unwind.

My family and I were here in mid-November. We didn't have to pay because it was the off-season. It was very windy, but we still loved the park. The grounds are large, varied, and clean, with ample parking. There are playgrounds, a huge area with tables and grills, and a large communal veranda that can be reserved during the season. The embankment is very beautiful. You can walk your dogs here. Because it was the off-season, the restrooms were out of service; there were only portable toilets. We will definitely come back. We recommend it.

Simple grounds. Nice shade coverage, very green. We couldn't see the water from RV park, but you can walk there. Small playground. Bathrooms were clean but a bit old. The soap dispenser was broken- so little maintenance things noted. Best was easy access to train to get to the city. About an hour to Grand Central Station. You do have to drive to the train station. We were able to park our 26 ft Class C motor home at the station parking lot.

Had a picnic here with the family, can’t beat family time by the water. There’s also beach & camping available. There’s built in BBQ grills into the ground & many picnic tables.
