We stopped at Madam Brett Park on the drive home on the summer just to get out, stretch our legs, and let the kids run... and it ended up being such a perfect little detour. It’s super easy to get to, parking was simple, and the trail is short enough that no one complains but still gives you those “wow we’re outdoors” moments.
The boardwalk walkway along the water is beautiful, and the little waterfall section was the kids’ highlight... we probably could’ve stayed there all day throwing sticks and watching the water rush over the rocks. There’s a cool old mill building along the way too, which adds to the whole “walk through history” vibe.

Overall: quick walk, great views, quiet, kid-friendly, and totally worth the stop if you’re in the Beacon area or passing through. We’ll definitely be back when we need another travel break!

Amazing views and instant tranquility. I wandered in for a quick walk and stayed way longer. Little side trails dip into the woods, over a tiny footbridge, down scrappy steps to a creek, then a gorgeous boardwalk appears beside an abandoned brick hat factory. I saw a small waterfall and a couple folks quietly fishing along the water. Clear signage and well kept paths made it easy to roam. There is direct access to the Hudson River.

Perfect spot for a low effort reset. Soft trails, birds, gentle water, and a big sky moment when you pop out by the river. I saw a couple of deer and bunnies walk right in front of me. Parts can be muddy after rain and some paths are narrow, but the boardwalk is easy and very photogenic. Bring bug spray, wear shoes you do not mind getting dirty, and take your time because the tiny offshoots are worth it.

I will be back for sunset. Feels like a little secret.

Such a lovely hidden gem! Easy to get to, super short and easy strolling. Great for all ages, families, and dogs.

There are two trails in this park, one leads to Tioronda Falls and the other goes past the ruins of the Tioronda Hat Works Factory and a marsh before ending at Denning Point State Park.

The randomness of it all found. I happened upon this spot while driving through Beacon and asking GPS for a park with a waterfall...and this is what I found.
It was tucked away off the side of residential backstreet.
There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot overlooking a waterfall which led to a wooden walkway, and a trail which ultimately lead us to the water's edge of the Hudson River and a place called "The Point".
Great little hike on a well-maintained area with tons of locals utilizing the path parallel to the Hudson River for all types of activities.
