Excellent ramp to access the Hudson River up north away from NYC. There is great restaurants by the water front in Newburgh to enjoy and even dock your boat. $15 to launch from this ramp and there is a Por-a-Jonny on site.

Very nice boat ramp. Tons of parking spots and easy loop access from entrance to launch to parking and reverse. You may find that some of the spots are taken up by cars not with trailers. Cars should not be taking up trailering spaces.
From this location you can easily see the Esopus Meadows Lighthouse (26mi) and Bannermans Island Castle (3 mi). 60 mi round trip. Was done just barely on one tank of gas on 2008 Seadoo RXT

We usually use the Newburgh launch and never have an issue. However yesterday we launched for an enjoyable day on the water, (we we had), however when we came back to load the boat onto the trailer, we discovered that someone stole the bolts that hold the boat rest on my son's trailer. Their is no-one their to make sure vehicles and trailers are safe. Thankfully my son carries a full range of tools and supplies and we were able to fix the trailer and get home with the boat safe and secure. Hope this never happens to anyone else,

An easy place to launch a boat or a PWC for a day on the Hudson. The fee is 15 dollars per day (as of 8/19) or a season pass can be had for 100 dollars. There are always people around the ramp watching boats go in and out and hanging out.
There are plenty of places to park your vehicle and trailer here also
