My husband and I did the lighthouse tour today. Our group left by boat to get to the lighthouse and we were there about an hour or so and returned by boat. This lighthouse is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year and is still operating its original filing bell, among the last of its kind.It’s a great educational museum and it appeals to kids and adults… knowledge guides are placed all around inside and outside of it and share lots of history and interesting tidbits and stories. We enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting in the Hudson, NY area… whole tour takes about an hour and half.

Really cool lighthouse right in the middle of the Hudson river. Really can’t get on it but if you go by boat on the river you can see a very cool deal of this lighthouse. Lotta fun to just chill on the river and relax and watch the boat house and the lighthouse.
