The parking lot is a fair size so launching a boat isn’t too bad.

Nice place to just sit and relax. Lots of picnic benches, shady and sunny spots.

This is such a gorgeous place to sit and relax, people watch and or have lunch. The views are breathtaking, scenic and serene. Towards the sunset, you can catch the fish feeding. Sometimes even freight ships will pass by and it’s such a great view and place to connect with nature and be surrounded by sounds of birds, bugs and people watching.

Been visiting the boat launch in Hudson for 50 years. I've seen it go through a lot of changes. If you want to see what it was like in the 50's, check out "Odds Against Tomorrow" with Sydney Poitier. A good movie that was filmed on Warren Street and the boat launch. The climax of the movie takes place at the boat launch and a chase on the old oil tanks that were removed about 20 years ago. Worth looking at.
