À great place to launch your boat or watercraft, two launches side by side on the launching dock.

There is parking for trucks with trailers, regular parking, and handicapped parking. There is a playground for kids, it's clean, and benches alongside the river and picnic tables for a nice packed lunch.

I'm the center is a gazebo that often hosts live music during the nice weather months. Yanni's restaurant and bar is located right their with their own parking and is a local hotspot.

You can fish from the railing to the right of the boat launch, and there is a small hiking trail also. It's a great, serene, place to relax in the morning and evening (yes, afternoons too, haha).

Some of my fondest memories are of getting out of work at 5am from my second job as a security guard, grabbing my rod and tackle box, sitting on the box and catching catfish and other species. This is where my family and I launched this year for striper fishing.

Today, Memorial Day 2026, while docking our boat, we met a wonderful family who was fishing where we needed to jump off with the docklines... They moved right away, and we found out it was there kids first time fishing (or at least this year). I introduced myself while waiting for our trailer, shook hands with the father, (extremely friendly!) and we were discussing the fish we like to catch, spots, and recipes... He told me to stop, that I was making him hungry 😁. These are the wonderful people that congregate here. He came from Selkirk to have his kids fish there, as he grew up in the in the Coeymans/Ravena area. It was a great end to a fun day; even without any striper bites!

Not much in the way of services, but it has the cleanest public bathrooms I’ve seen in New York. Good benches to watch the river

I was driving around to look at Christmas decorations and decided to sit in the gazebo for a few minutes. It was very peaceful
