Nice free park at the confluence of the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers, but the trailered launch is in dire need of repair. Ramp is not level and it's nearly impossible to property retrieve a trailer boat under the ramps current state.

What a fabulous way to spend Father's Day! Kayaking at the confluence of Lake Champlain and the Mohawk and Hudson Rivers offered something for everyone. We saw deer, turtles, ducks and ducklings. Seeing the falls was an added bonus. This is a fun and great way to spend time with family and friends! And so many locations to choose from! Thanks Donna for making Fathers Day super fun!

The ramp seems to be subsiding and is tilted pretty badly to your driver side as you back down. Also parking areas aren't clearly marked, and during both unloading and loading, someone was parked right at the top of the ramp making maneuvering difficult. If you are heading south, the launch in Rensselaer would be better.

Big parking lot and dock space. Nice place to check out the Hudson River and launch watercraft.

Be careful if you bring your boat here. The south side bottom of the ramp is missing concrete. My boat leaned dangerously to the side as I was backing it in causing me to be unable to launch.
