Construction going on down here right now and the road is pretty bumpy wirh traffic piling up. The view is gorgeous but the driving part of it kind of sucks. Gota pay attention to the road to avoid collisions. Stay alert and leave enough room between vehicles. Weather isn’t that bad here so enjoy the view

Cool bridge! It is pretty narrow, and there's construction going on, too, but it's still cool to drive over and see the beautiful views of the mountains and the Hudson.

Avoid if you suffer from VERTIGO!
for real have a look at the video.
After driving on this bridge once a month for the past year or so:
- Repairs going on every single time. (hope is a good thing), you might be driving on an given lane, who knows.
- Do leave plenty of room between vehicles, lateral metal protections don't make you feel so safe
- slow down, road can be bumpy.

We were north bound transit in the hudson to turn around our vessel to south bound. They were doing some repairs on the bottom part of the bridge when we went there. The bridge was a bit rusty. I hope they make some repair and maintenance here.

First of all the bridge is not that bad as people make it seem. Yes, it’s scary because of how quickly it comes up and yes you are pretty high up and it’s narrow and single lane with ongoing construction. But it’s a Truss BRIDGE people! If you get this scared crossing a bridge maybe you should rethink your entire life choices that brought you there in the first place. Theres a reason why it’s still standing and hasn’t collapsed it’s because truss bridges are engineering powerhouses when it comes to load. Personally I saw no rust at all maybe they repainted and repaired most of it. But I will agree I didn’t like the two lanes and the guardrails. I went on it twice going into NY and coming back to MA and I have a fear of heights. Like really people grow a pair…live life on the edge for once
