Nice bridge. Smooth. Love the design. Did not get to see it rise.

This is a vertical lift bridge crossing the Hudson River and connects green island with troy NY and carries four lanes of NY915B traffic. The bridge operates for lifts from April 1 to December 15. Also, during summer, the bridge is active and can be raised, usually requiring 24 hours' notice by calling the number on the bridge.

Pleasant area to enjoy a view of the Hudson River. Safe clean walkways.

iconic structure. got caught in traffic when it was up once though and it was NOT pleasant.
