What a beautiful park! The hiking trail is worth the walk because the views are stunning. We took the long trail so it was a bit much for my toddler it is safe for kids. Be aware of the little flies though, there are a lot by the water area.

Gentle walk around the small island with beautiful waterfront views with rapids and falls. We got great fall photos, had no trouble finding the trail, and had friendly people to show us when we had trouble choosing the trail. The restrooms and water are open and available but difficult to find. You have to walk behind the park office. Follow the signs!

Great state park for an afternoon stroll or picnic. The paths are well maintained with many covered in gravel. The perimeter trail provides beautiful overlooks of a couple waterfalls and damns where the Mohawk meets the Hudson.

Easy to get to. Nice trails with good water views . The outer loop is very pleasant. It's an older park but not without its charm

A peaceful and pretty park with well maintained hiking trails. The prettiest part is by the waterfalls. A deer crossed my path, but dog owners held dutifully their pets on leashes. I also learned there that a tree will one day fall down. That's unfair because it will leave all other trees still growing. See the picture. 😀
