Beautiful trail and amazing scenery. The drive through the back road is wonderful.
If you are planning on a Sunday , the trains through the trestle are less frequent.Be prepared to wait for at least an hour or two.
Overall its a quiet place to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Amazing engineering! If they had to build it today it would take more than 20 years and cost over a billion dollars if they could do it at all.

Another one of my favorite Hudson Valley places! So beautiful, especially at sunset. There’s a trail you can go up to the see the top of the tracks (but you cannot go on). Fun hiking trail if you wanted to continue on.

Very neat trestle of its time, great to watch in time for the sunset in the warm months. There is a place to park along the road and you can hike in various trails. Just before of of the ticks and other wildlife around!
