Grew up going tubing every summer and the boat launch was always the final stop. Great stripper and catfishing at the right hours, and even still today I bring my daughter to feed the ducks, since it provides a safe place for her to enjoy herself and play in the sand, other places along the river are to dangerous yet for a 2 year old.

This is a dirt boat launch. Very clean and serine area. They over benches and a porta potty as well. If your not launching a boat it is a nice place to go enjoy nature. There are usual ducks hanging around. Decent area for shore fishing.

Awesome beach-type area!

Had a great time fishing there. Met a local artist. She was finishing up a piece for the Belvidere Founders Day art exhibition.
