Took my youngest son here as part of his home schooling history class. Nice place during the week. It was just enough to hold his attention and we both learned a lot about how this factory formed a whole town. Nice place to take inquizative children that's close and doesn't cost a fortune. Makes for a nice little day trip . After we took a little ride on the River Line . We made a whole day out of it.

Very interesting little museum with a lot of charm and photos and artifacts.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff which also give personal tours.

It is a small museum, but is packed with information. The staff is friendly and informative. While small, it tells the story of Roebling's innovation, twisted wire cables which led to iconic suspension bridges like the Brooklyn Bridge. There is also a short walking tour of the company town that Roebling built to house his employees

What. A. Spectacular. Museum. George Ott was a hell of a tour guide. My only suggestion for the museum is to shorten the movie or play it at 1.15 speed. The interior of the museum is so well kept. Every area was clean and showed the exhibits with the dignity they deserve. I enjoyed my 2.5 hours here. Can't wait to go back with another history buff. Parking is convenient. Listen to the tour guide. Intently. It's incredible how this site was responsible for so much. And yes - the original cables on the George Washington Bridge are still in use and still MADE IN NEW JERSEY !!! 🌉 Go visit the Roebling Museum.

I know it's much better than my underwhelming pictures convey, but I never seem to be able to get here when it's open. And honestly, they need to do a better job with the static displays within their fence line. A rusted out switcher engine and a god-knows-what late model machine a-go-go ain't cutting it. Yes, factory wheel and slag buckets are great, but come on, there has to be better machinery that can be displayed out there. Ah hell, maybe I'm just running my mouth. I love Roebling and everything he and his boys did. So here's some so-so photos I managed to take through the fences after hours. Enjoy. I guess.
