We stopped here for an impromptu tour and it ended up being a delightful way to spend an hour. The tour guide was extremely thorough and engaging and her knowledge of the Parry family and this mansion is quite extensive. We learned quite a few things about Pennsylvania and American history in such a short time. The house is beautiful and has numerous original artifacts, furniture, artwork, and household items. If you love history and visiting old buildings and hearing the stories about the people that make up our past, then you will love this mansion.

Interesting tour with an educated and highly engaging docent who wove the home and its furnishings into wonderfully informative stories about the New Hope area and it's early residents. Not recommended as much for small children but more for those who are really interested in learning.
