Great view of the mountain, as well as the Tara Probst Memorial Death Corridor, which is exactly as dangerous as it sounds and is the only way to get to Stroudsburg from here without cutting through Jersey and paying the toll.

Not a great view, even in winter with no leaves to block it, also quite a bit of litter in the parking lot and on the hill. Still a decently remote place to enjoy the river though.

Funny story, I was thinking that if we passed through this route past the Arrow Island Overlook that we would avoid the Watergap tole. It wo. Nevertheless, it was a senic , majestic view when taking this route.

Not really if you expected just a lot of trees, and if you look closely, you can see the Delaware River passing.

Probably my least favorite of the 3 overlook sites on the PA side of the river, but it still has some great views of Mt. Tammany. The best part about this overlook is that you can see a lot of hawk activity around the summit, especially if you brought binoculars. When I went (early spring), the overgrowth below blocked my view of the Delaware and Arrow Island, but there was a good amount of animal activity there too, so it’s all for the best. Would recommend going to Point of the Gap Overlook if you can only stop at one, but they’re so close you might as well drive a bit further and decide for yourself which is better!
