Nice place to visit with interesting story. Normally open on history weekends.

We went when it wasn't open, so we couldn't see inside the buildings. There us a very nice nature trail with interpretive signs, though. Not suitable for strollers, but not very long. Nice access to Delaware River. Kids said they had fun.

I scouted this out as it is listed as a Boat Launch. The old homestead looks cool but that was not why I stopped. There is a gate so you would have to carry any boats a long way. There is an embankment for launching but I would recommend a cart of some type if you are trying to use it as a boat launch

Went there for an eve ing of drumming, first time and it is right on the Delaware river. Very attractive setting. Easy to get there at the junction of 46 and the road from Hope. From Hope it a very senic drive.
