Built in 1864 this truss bridge carried the South Branch Railroad across the Raritan River. One of 3 such bridges along the line. A similar bridge still exists along the ROW in Neshanic Station and only the piers remain in Somerville. The abutment on one side is damaged and I would not advise walking across. The tracks appear to have wear so this portion of the line may not be abandoned.
