Today this railroad bridge across the Pequest River is part of the Pequest Wildlife Management Area Trail. Originally it carried the Pequest and Wallkill Railroad which later merged and became the Lehigh and Hudson River Railroad. The tracks have been removed and the decking replaced so there are no longer gaps. The steel structure is rusted but otherwise unaltered. The original bridge was constructed sometime in the 1870s.
