If you’re going to explore the ice cave this is a good place to park and start your hike. There are spots for about 6-8 cars just off the road. There is no bathroom at this trailhead.

To get to the ice cave from here follow the blue trail up the ridge. The trail is steep and narrow. While there are good views of the Delaware River you need to be here in late autumn to early spring when there are no leaves on the trees. Unfortunately there is no escaping to sound of traffic along this trail so don’t expect a peaceful stroll through nature. Near the top of the ridge the orange trail will start to your right. Follow that a short distance to the cave. Continue on the orange trail past the cave to see more mine sites. When it intersects the blue trail follow that back down to complete the loop. You’ll pass a scenic spot on the ridge edge but again leaves will block your view in the summer.

Trail was not maintained. I ended up not hiking once I saw the condition of the trail because it looked really risky for ticks - very high grass, very overgrown. Big bummer because I was looking forward to this hike and the scenic views I've seen from others' photos. Minimal parking on the side of the road.
