A local gem! Local museum in an historic house with so many artifacts organized by theme. I loved the Victorian dresses on loan from local families. The "gift shop" has delightful handmade goods from locals, my favorites being woven baskets and vintage handsewn pillow dolls.
The volunteer running it this day knew all about each story and the families and people in the town, being one himself.
Another room is dedicated to handmade model covered bridges to scale of such intricate handiwork and craftsmanship.
Definitely worth a visit, as far as I know it is open Sundays 12-4pm but may close early depending on visitors.
