Not overly interesting but there's no spot on the DWG that isn't beautiful in its own way.

Nice parking lot, bathrooms and picnic area. Hike along the creek is out and back.

Beautiful place, nice manicured trail. We went up the old dirt road to the left up to where the trail meets the upper road then bushwhacked over the ridge and into the creek part of the trail. 5 miles round trip. Lots of bugs so plan appropriately. I like Adams Creek and Indian Ladders but the park service seems to have given up on those.

Tom’s creek trailhead was one of my favorite walking trails a few miles right along the stream, beautiful views. They have bathrooms and plenty of parking.

Perfect spot for families with kids - picnic area, bathrooms, and flat trail along the creek.
