Premium pricing for basic accomodations. Stuffy bunkrooms, didn't provide sheets, just a pillow. Towels can be rented for $5. Staff wasn't very friendly and very combative about price corrections on their merchandise. Food was rather overpriced for what you get. No laundry room available. Tent spots are horrible. Wouldn't stay here again.

Ever deepening and widening potholes all along the long gravel road you drive in on. 15mph posted. In a regular car, not really possible to exceed 10mph. Potholes best navigated at 5mph or less.

Nice area. Lodging has become very expensive (and on priceline etc now?) and some staff robot like.

Day hikers no longer allowed in the lodge (other than to buy things) but can use the picnic tables, portapotties and the water spigot behind the building.

We booked a few weeks prior to our arrival - we had an issue with our previous venue and just so happened to come across the lodges at the Mohican Outdoor Center - WOW! This was such a good deal. We were able to host a small family get together to countdown the new year in the main living space of the Blueberry Hill lodge. There were extra folding tables and chairs available and so many items on hand for us to use in the kitchen. There was a slight miscommunication with Wifi, but we rolled with the punches and made the best of it. It was a beautiful snowy night as we counted down the new year. My suggestion to individuals booking: Bring mattress toppers for the beds - the mattresses are durable/not comfortable (understandable, it's a lodge not a hotel). Thank you Melissa for answering our questions and being readily available! Overall, one of the best experiences we have ever had as a family.

First time hiking the AT and stayed at one of the adorable, cozy cottages. Even though the mountain received significant snow and temps were freezing, the cottage stayed super warm. It had a full bathroom/shower and kitchenette. Waking up to the sunrise over the mountain was breathtaking! We saw several beautiful white tailed deer around the cottage and on Racoon Ridge which is a short hike from the AT trail head right down the road. This is a must getaway for nature lovers/hikers. Looking forward to returning in the summer!

Four of us spent three nights in the Trails End bunkhouse over Columbus Day Weekend. We used Mohican Center as a base for two days of biking and a day of hiking in the Delaware Water Gap. The bunkhouse includes a communal area with four sofas and two tables, a wood stove for heat, a full kitchen and four bunk rooms, each with four bunks. Firewood was included; if you need more, you go to the lodge (about a 5 minute walk). Each bunk has a mattress and a pillow with a pillowcase (although you may want to bring your own pillowcase); bring your own bedding/sleeping bag.

The kitchen includes two refrigerators, a stove, oven, two coffee makers, a lot of pans (many of which have non-stick coatings in various conditions) and one or two small pots. There is also ample silverware, dishes, and plastic glasses, along with various utensils for cooking and knives. Although paper towels are provided, coffee filters are not, and I did not find a cutting board.

Toilets and showers are about 100 yards away in the back of the Rec Center, which has two ping pong tables, a foosball table, and a pool table.

There are also other cabins that can be rented, as well as tenting campsites (which I used with my family when the girls were young).

The lodge has a small but well stocked store that includes everything from essentials for hikers (hats, gloves, Lowa hiking boots, a number of backpacks ranging in size, trekking pole replacement tips, etc.) to gifts. It is also where you can buy meals and eat in the dining room/communal area. (You can find a menu online that includes breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and various lunch sandwiches). Trail maps for the Delaware Water Gap area are available in the communal area, and a complete set can be bought in the store.

There is no cell service in the bunkhouse, but the lodge has wifi if you have to get online or make a call.

It's about a 20 minute drive to the park office for Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The Rattlesnake Swamp trail starts next to the Trails End bunkhouse and can combined with a fire road to access a fire tower before looping back to the Appalachian Trail.

The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.
