This long pedestrian bridge across the Delaware offers great views! However, there is nothing to do on either side of the river. It's a great place to stop go for a short walk and take a picture.

Every time I visit this area, I have to stop and take in the breathtaking views separating NJ and PA. While PA is tranquil and has many historical places to visit, this particular trail connects Portland with Columbia and has street parking in the downtown area. I look forward to this visit when I am able to take the drive.

🌉 The Portland-Columbia Pedestrian Bridge gets the job done, but it could be better for cyclists. 🚲 It’s great that there’s a way to cross the river without dealing with traffic, but getting a bike up on the PA side is more of a hassle than it should be. The views are nice, but the effort to access it knocks it down a bit. Still, it’s a solid option for a quiet ride across the water. 🌊

Off street parking quiet place to enjoy beautiful surroundings.

Great view.great for tubing and kayaking. Nice small shops and eaterys near by.
