Lou is really nice, and there are plenty of tubes. You can self-drive up the river and float back down to her place but they do not provide rides. While the best place to put in the river upstream is in the attached photos (make your first left when you cross the bridge into PA on the Cochecton turnpike), there are rocks which you need to paddle to avoid in these minimally maneuverable tubes and bends in the river, so IMHO this 1.5-1.75 hr float is not going to go well for anyone less than 13-14.

Lou's Tubes was the best! Bill was such a great host and did a great job of giving us the details of the river and how to make the most of the day. The slow float down to Skinners Falls from the put in was fun and then going down the rapids was a blast. It was great that you could go again and again once you pulled out at the rocks at Skinners Falls. Great family friendly, kid friendly experience if you're looking for one!

We had such a great time! Bill was the nicest and gave us very clear instructions about the experience. The rapids were so fun and the rocks at skinners falls were such a nice spot to hang out for the day. Will definitely be coming back!

First of all no lifeguard support available, the instructions are NOT clearly given about the rapids. We did a shot tubing (15 mins) with kids, it was smooth and not deep when starting, but it was getting deeper in some places and has few very risky rapids, not safe for kids and especially who doesn't know the swimming. The landing and return paths are not clear, no marks found anywhere. It's comparatively cheeper price but it's more like you are your own. If you fall down, no one will help you. Risky place if you are not expert on water activities.
