We used this for our take out point for kayaking down from Tusten NY for a 6.5 mile trip down the Delaware in 2 1/2 hours. The Upper Delaware River is beautiful - eagles over head, a rainbow in the sky and the quiet of the river. It provides plenty of space along the water with concrete ramp to avoid muddy feet. There is a large parking lot just across the street along with several spots at riverside area. The Zane Grey museum is also across the street. Often patrolled by Park Ranger

Easy access. Plenty of parking, and I have never seen the parking area remotely full. Port-a-john across the road.
The river is shallow right now, so get out into the channel to navigate.

Its a nice place to launch a kayak or Tube or just sit in your car and watch the eagles soar. No internet connection so if you dont mind the voices in your own head...this place is for you.

Great location to launch or retrieve a canoe/raft/kayak. Plenty of parking and a decent concrete ramp to minimize the mud. If coming from the north to pull out here, it is just after the kankali rapids portion of the Delaware. Lots of funs.
