Enjoy the beautiful Upper Delaware Recreation while observing superior engineering. John Roebling, the civil engineer who designed the famous Brooklyn Bridge designed this Roebling Bridge the was part of the former aqueduct and canal where boats actually crossed the river from above. So many things to do along the way and when you get here. Take photos, walk, fish, water sports or just being a lunch and treat yourself to the beautiful scenery!

Really cool historical bridge and area in general! This is part of the Upper Delaware National Scenic River National Park Site. There are plenty of plaques with history and historical buildings around here. Maps are available around the paring areas alongside port-a-potties. There is plenty of parking. You can drive and walk over the bridge. Pretty views in every direction!

The engineer who designed this also designed so many other cool and important bridges in American history.

It was interesting. The views were beautiful but I wouldn't drive a long way out of my way to see it

This was a fun novelty to visit. There's a 24/7 informational center on the Jersey side. You can safely walk across it and there is a (relatively) easy acess to the river on the southeast (Pennsylvania) and northwest (Jersey) side, plus parking.
