This was a little drive from Bethlehem but well worth it. We were there on a Saturday night that was also Valentines Day so the place was fully booked. Cocktail menu was great. Food menu had something for everyone. Our food was fantastic. (Oyster chowder soup, Halibut with risotto, and Filet w/ potatoes and broccolini.) I have a lot of allergies and the kitchen was awesome. The building itself is really neat. We are looking forward to returning when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy the outside seating. And a table by the fire would be fun too. Our only criticism was that there was only one bartender on this busy night making drinks for the whole place - so there was a little wait for drinks - but the cocktails were great. Overall a really fantastic experience! We are happy to have found this place!

Our party all agreed: the food here was "mid" at best. We came for mother's day. The menu looked very high end - with price tags to suit. It turned out to be highly aspirational. They were out of half the entrees, but no worries, no points deducted for that.
I think the main issue is that we paid a 5 star price for what amounted to Applebee's level food.
In the end, it's a beautiful old inn with a beautiful location, and pretty good service. Those do a lot of heavy lifting. But the $700 (6 people) price tag really didn't line up with the quality that night. Maybe it was a fluke or a holiday problem.

I had dinner for the first time tonight. I ordered the brisket and it was extremely dry and chewy. It was inedible and did not look appetizing whatsoever, so I only ate the cornbread. When the waitress picked up the plate I informed her and she apologized and asked me if I'd like to order anything else. I declined since I didn't want to pay for another meal. When we received the check she took off $9 for the dessert. It's disappointing that I had a $23 piece of cornbread for dinner.

Four of us rode our bikes along the Delaware and stopped here for lunch & a cocktail. The food and cocktails were very good.
Two of us had the delicious Polynesian Chile & my sweetheart had the delicious Reigelsville Reuben.
The service was also very good. We sat outside and enjoyed the river view. We all would like to go back again.

I don’t normally write reviews, butI’m not gonna lie, I’m a little disappointed. I’ve been wanting to try this place forever because I always drive by and it’s so beautiful. We went there last night for my birthday dinner and didn’t have the greatest experience. I have a one year-old and we made the reservation specifically at 6:15 so that we would be able to be home in enough time for bedtime and Not be there So long that my daughter comes undone, well that’s what happened. It took two hours just for us to get our entrée and by then it was already 8 o’clock, and my daughter was losing her mind. We had to rush through dinner and couldn’t even have a birthday dessert because it was so late we didn’t have time and we had to go. I didn’t even get to finish my dinner. I had to box it up and take it home. this place is not the greatest If you have babies that have a specific bedtime, they need to be home for. the place is absolutely beautiful and the service was nice. But we will probably not be coming back if it takes that long to get our dinner :(.
