We have been going to Barryville for around 10 years. My kids always have a blast as do I. The river trips are amazing, staff is knowledgeable about the river which put me at ease going alone with three kids. The staff at the store/check in was so nice too. Dixie also gets a 5 star review! We stay in a deluxe cabin and it’s always clean and perfect for what we are looking for! Can’t wait for next year!

I have been going to Indian Head Canoes for four years in a row. I have made it a tradition to go rafting here with friends and family. The staff is so nice and professional. The route we take is wonderful and there are many places to stop and eat and enjoy a nice swim. I recommend this place if you want a peaceful rafting route where you can just take in the beautiful view and fresh air.

My family and I were looking for something to do with family and friends. In 2022 we did the 9 mile rafting with friends who set everything. Without knowing the first thing we contacted Indian head rafting and canoes, they were very helpful with setting clear expectations and answering all of my questions. Reserving went smoothly. Us arriving and the bus ride went smoothly. Staff were very patient and friendly. Some of our party did not sign the virtual waiver, they were available just make sure to arrive on time to allow time for folks to sign. One thing I would advise is keeping it 4 adults to a raft. We did 4 adults and 2 kids and it was a little tight. Besides that go with an open mind, let the flow of the water take you and make sure you bring enough snacks and food to hold you down for the time being. Additionally by a dry bag and dress for water activities.

I’ve been coming to this campground for years, and it never disappoints! The staff is always welcoming and helpful, the grounds are clean and well-maintained, and the river is absolutely perfect for a relaxing day of canoeing. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back every season—peaceful, scenic, and a great escape from the busyness of everyday life. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and memorable outdoor experience!

all the staff was amazingly super nice, always willing to help. we have been coming to Indian Head for the last 20 years, never disappointed. Stayed in a cabin this year. Love all the upgrades in them - AC, Heat, Sink. We definately will be back again next year.
