This is a dual-span suspension bridge crossing the Delaware river. Surprise, it was relatively uneventful. Crossing bridges normally gives me anxiety but not this one. It does have tolls but I’m not sure what because we had a EZ Pass. They say on clear days you can see the Phili skyline but I didn’t see anything of sorts.

I may be biased as a Michigander (we have the best with the Mackinaw Bridge lol), but this one felt sturdy and safe too. It got us over the Delaware river safely! Thankfully people were courteous and cautious.

The bridge looks nice but there’s always construction so one of the four lanes is always closed (except on holiday weekends for the most part). Don’t expect an easy time traveling over this bridge into New Jersey during the summer months (especially on Friday and Sunday evenings).

The Delaware Memorial Bridge is both impressive and iconic. It offers a smooth and scenic drive connecting Delaware and New Jersey, and it’s especially beautiful during sunrise or sunset. The bridge is well-maintained, and traffic usually flows well except during peak hours or holiday weekends. It’s a vital link for travelers and commerce alike. You can really appreciate the scale and engineering when you’re crossing it. Definitely one of the more memorable bridges on the East Coast!

Priced right if I have to pay. My truck and camper were much less than just my truck at another bridge. Horrible that you have to pay outside of your taxes for this privilege
