Washington Crossing Park is a must-visit, steeped in history and natural beauty. Make it a habit to visit with your family and enjoy the lush greenery, scenic walking trails along the lake, and the iconic metal bridge. The park's serene atmosphere is sure to leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed – a perfect way to spend quality time together!

NOTE: This review is for the park on the PA side of Washington Crossing - not the HUGE park on the NJ side.

One of my favorite parks because of its location and historic significance. Also there is a great tavern/restaurant to eat on the NJ side where, after you eat, you can walk across the bridge directly behind the restaurant.

Never crowded, flat, along the waterfront. It’s a place to walk and enjoy the views- not a park to play on a field or have a large get together like other parks where you can picnic, bbq, toss a frisbee, etc.

It’s more like park with a museum in it. There is a hotel and a restaurant on the PA side as well that you can easily walk too (it’s about 1,000 feet away).

Why 4 stars and not 5? -1 point for its smaller size (on the PA side)

We've been here several times. So rich in history! Looking forward to the new visiting center which should be complete this year, 2026.

Washington Crossing State Park is a really nice park. It has a playground area with two big playgrounds, and a lot of pic ic tables and grills available. There are some nice walking trails through the woods. Its the perfect place to have a picnic, go for a jog, take a bike ride, or just enjoy nature. There is a nature center on the grounds, as well as a theater. Bathrooms are available near the playground. Overall a wonderful park, and I can't wait to go back.

This park has some of the most beautiful trails in the area . We just love this park. Usually we park in the first parking lot and walk through the ferry house to all the way to the bridge to Washington crossing historic park in PA. The whole trail back and forth is a little over three miles. The terrain is lovely. It is pretty straight all through. Very kid friendly! My 4 year old daughter has so much fun on the trail.
