Made a last minute reservation to paddle the TMR to Minisink trip in a canoe. Water was low but I had a great time. Very few companies service this route, so wasn’t crowded at all. Barely saw anyone all day! Transportation was fast and courteous. Gary is a great driver and knows the area well. Landers Minisink base was well stocked and has clean bathrooms (better than some companies that only offer port-a-johns). Great being able to shower before driving home. The staff at the base worked quickly and were friendly and offered great tips and suggestions.

This place place was the worst. They have a set of rules behind the desk when you check in. Don't worry, just ignore them because they aren't enforced.

Restful? Relaxing? A place for your family? It's anything but that. They have a "security guard" that doesn't do anything at all. He did however stop my friend in his car so he could look at his girlfriend's shirt. And by looking at her shirt I mean blatantly stared at her chest while the rest of us in the car couldn't believe that just happened.

Didn't really sleep a single night. Screaming and yelling through the night from the other campsites. Competing music from two sites so they each kept going louder. It's not any easier when the campsites are directly on top of each other. Everyone is crammed in, which is especially painful when your neighbor rents three sites but had 13 vehicles jammed in to an already tight space.

People washing their food plates in the bathroom left the sinks filthy and greasy. Mold around both sinks. Had no hot water after a long day on the river.

I'm struggling to think of any positive. I visit a lot of campsites throughout the year and I can't say I've really been to worse.

Believe the other reviews, we didn't and we regretted it the entire time.

This pictures are the campsite on Sunday, late morning.

This campground is at a convenient location with easy on & off access to the Delaware River. Services (food, gas) are a short drive away in Lackawaxen & Barryville. There is also a camp store here that sells snacks, firewood, souvenirs, & camping supplies. Camping can occur here even by visitors who aren't paddling the river, but visitors should note that campsites are extremely close together and will likely have visitors that do not respect others as they blast music & are noisy. Visiting on weekdays might minimize the chances of this being the reality. All campsites are located in a grassy clearing and contain a picnic table & fire ring. Small sleeping lean-tos are also available. Price is $26.00 per person per night. Showers & restrooms are available. If you stay here, PLEASE, pick up your trash. The grounds here were littered with garbage. If staff wishes to improve this campground, they must consider picking up litter including down along the river & visitors should be courteous by picking up after themselves.

Had an awesome time ! All the staff were very friendly. My family and I enjoyed it! We went on a weekday when the Aqueduct is closed and we still got some pretty good rapids
