Loved everything about this place. I was planning a Valentine’s weekend around the Frenchtown and New Hope area, but nothing on my usual apps was catching my eye. Then I checked Google Maps, found this place, and booked our room shortly after.
The service, the room, the breakfast, and the tea time were all amazing. Cozy and charming—like being home, but away from home. The living room filled with books and board games kept us entertained, and the butler’s pantry gave us something to snack on late at night.
Thank you so much for making our stay truly memorable. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely get-away at the Bridgeton House in early December. We stayed in the Boat House, which was perfect for us and our dog. The staff were great, the room really comfortable with a beautiful view of the Delaware River, and the breakfast delicious. There are several great restaurants nearby for dinner. We are hikers and really enjoyed walking along the Delaware Canal towpath. Overall a great inn in a great location with beautiful views - highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay in early November. It was so nice to just flick a switch and have a fire going in our room. There were lots of cozy spots in the hotel to sit and read. We had an incredibly yummy and extensive breakfast. I love all of the art for sale and actually purchased a piece that I really love. The guest pantry is a really great feature. Everyone was warm and welcoming and helpful. I hope to return in warmer weather so that I could swim off the dock and make more use of the screened porch.

My wife Andrea and I recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-day stay at the Bridgeton Inn in Upper Black Eddy, PA, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for a truly relaxing and memorable visit.
The inn itself is charming and beautifully maintained, with a perfect blend of historic character and modern comfort. Our room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed, offering breathtaking views of the Delaware River that added a magical touch to our mornings and evenings Watching the river flow peacefully from our window was one of the highlights of our stay.
Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast served with care. The common areas of the inn, including the sun room and fountain garden, were serene spots to enjoy a cup of coffee or a quiet moment.
The location is fantastic, with easy access to scenic walking trails, quaint shops, and excellent dining options. Whether we were exploring the nearby countryside or simply relaxing at the inn, every moment felt special.
Most of all, the innkeepers made our stay exceptional. Their attention to detail and warm demeanor made us feel truly at home.
We highly recommend the Bridgeton Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with charm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I just returned to BH last weekend for our 3rd stay. We had a hectic few months and decided the day before to get away for a few days. We have thought about trying another place but always choose to go back to BH.
We love walking over the bridge into quaint Milford as well as driving a few miles down the road to explore Frenchtown. So many cute shops and restaurants. When we feel like going farther we head to New Hope, Lamberton and Peddlers Village. My husband, an early riser loves the hiking path across from BH to get his morning exercise in.
On the last night of our stay we will walk across the Milford Bridge to the Canal House Station restaurant for dinner which has always been an amazing meal and memory. This weekend we decided to try fall foliage train ride on the New Hope Railroad which was gorgeous.
We have stayed in rooms 1,4 and last year we booked The Delaware for our 25th Wedding Anniversary -all 3 rooms were river facing with screened in porches. We loved all 3 rooms equally bc of the porches! We read, have a glass of wine, catch up, play a board game or just stare off at the wonderful view and decompress. The Delaware room is bigger with a wonderful tub for 2 but we would
book any of them as long as they had a porch!
The breakfasts and afternoon teas are delicious. The staff is welcoming and treat you like family. We will definitely be back for a 4th time next spring or summer! Highly recommend this gem of a B&B ❤️
