I recently stayed at Bridgeton House on the Delaware for a few days and it was an amazing experience! The rooms are absolutely amazing and the staff very welcoming! I love the home cooked hot breakfast daily and the 3pm tea time. They have a dock where you can swim and the Tree House room is impeccable. They have everything you will need including swim towels and a free pantry you can access. The river views are bsautoful and there are so many wonderful things to do and good restaurants to visit! French town is always fun! I will be back soon!

Bridgeton House on the Delaware is truly a gem. I’ve visited multiple times with friends and family, and every single visit has been wonderful. The manager Diane is exceptionally warm and welcoming — her kindness and hospitality made every stay feel special. Even my family, who are hard to impress, absolutely fell in love with this place!

The atmosphere is cozy and charming, the setting along the Delaware River is breathtaking, and the attention to detail in everything they do is remarkable. And the breakfast included with the room? It’s not your typical hotel breakfast — it feels like a home-cooked meal made with real love and care. You can truly taste the difference!

It’s the kind of place that keeps calling you back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway!

This was our first stay at the Bridgeton House. We stayed in the Delaware Suite for 2 nights. What a beautiful room. The room is large and very well decorated. There is plenty of space to move around. The king sized bed is very comfortable and the view of the river is spectacular. All of the staff are super nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. There are various spots you can sit outside with a clear view of the river. It's a short walk to Milford, NJ and short drives to various other destinations (e.g. Hew Hope, Frenchtown). We have stayed at many B&Bs and the Bridgeton House is in our top 3. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful hideaway. The room was so cozy and the place has an eclectic, warm, charm. They thought about the little details making it feel intimate. The staff was so sweet and helpful. AND THE VIEW!!! Being able to sit and eat breakfast while watching the river backdropped by the bridge was so serene and peaceful. We plan on making this our anniversary location.

We had an AMAZING stay at the Bridgeton House! All the details blew us away. From the hand written little note next to the bed with a little treat, the most comfortable bed and sheets, a huge collection of great DVDs to watch while cozied up in the softest robes, blankets set out to cover up with on the screened in porch while we read our books and had our coffee next to the water - simply the best. The breakfast was awesome as well. We will definitely be back for another visit!
