Very steep, wet, rocky, and loose dirt.
Not for faint of heart, but doable if you take you time.
Met 5 year old and 80+ years olds on trail.
The lake is the start of New England's longest rive.
You would generally expect more magesty to it, but a slowly drying up pond is the best it gets
Is it worth 3/4 mile up with 400 foot elevation gain?
You need to be the judge of that.
For me it is perfect, since I have paddled the entire length of the river.!
