Large body of water, lots of coves to explore, remote canoe access camping, picnic areas, and hey, how interesting is it that an ole New England town is submerged below!

Beautiful place! The islands are nice to kayak around. My teens loved the rope swing. There were not a lot of people. The water is shallow enough to be relatively warm. There are some shallow places that make it nice for younger children who don't swim.

This boat launch and swimming area is a great place to cool off in the summer. It's pretty well maintained, and the power company has even added picnic tables to the island. It would be even nicer if the people using the beach would take their trash home with them, and respect the work being done to provide spaces like this for all to enjoy.

I go here to kayak and fish a lot. Really pretty, but there is always a bunch of teenagers siting along the boat launch blocking it off, loudly swearing, and littering. They left 2 hooks on the boat launch today after they tried to make fishing poles out of sticks (I cleaned it up.) Wear shoes until you get in the water or you'll be going in for a tetanus shot on a nice day.

Small body of water with a couple of islands and Sandy beaches. Does not connect to the larger reservoir.
