A most beautiful lake.
The put-on, as with most lakes in the area is very Rocky and rough for car-topped water craft.
Motor boats have it easier as the ramp is concrete and in good shape.
The lake is 8 miles around with a 100 foot average depth.
Completely undeveloped, it's an oasis of quiet.
Saw several deer along shore along with a juvenile bald eagle and lots of kingfishers

Beautiful lake and park area. We went swimming yesterday. Unfortunately someone had left trash, a melting cake, and a fire left smoldering. Not the fault of recreation and wildlife, just bad people breaking laws and ruining it for the rest if us. If not for that the park seemed well maintained, the water cryst al clear and perfect.

It was great the water was really warm and we had like a half picnic and we gave some people some watermelon they loved it and a women built her own kayaking boat and the trip was really fun!

Very relaxing area!!

Nice quiet lake with easy access.
