Loved that this bridge had flags at each end. One side looks to have recently been repaired as the boards are newer and windows larger than the opposite side.

The Edgell Bridge is a charming, historic covered bridge spanning Clay Brook. Built in 1885, its rustic beauty showcases classic New England craftsmanship, making it a picturesque spot for photos or quiet reflection. The serene surroundings add to its timeless appeal, offering visitors a glimpse into the past while enjoying the natural landscape. A must-see for history buffs and those seeking peaceful, scenic spots.

Adorable! Newly renovated and looks fresh and sturdy. Little path down to the water lots of frogs and crawdads. Very clean too, not a lot of junk like some bridges.

Riding by we stopped to see the covered bridge. We drove across the covered bridge and then drove back across once more.
It is a nice covered bridge.

Nice historical bridge. There is a small pull off on on side enough to fit 3-4 cars. Decent fishing under and around this bridge. Very quiet road. Bridge is one lane at a time. Plenty of wildlife in the vicinity. No picnic area or "beach"front. There is litter around the area, I try to pack out a grocery bag everytime I fish there.
