The Knoxland Dairy Farm provides a public boat launch site for muscle powered cartop boats: paddleboards, canoes, kayaks, etc.

To get to the boat launch you need to go through the farm. From Route 5, take Round Barn Road and drive past the house. Turn right at the barn (there used to be a sign but it is knocked over as I write this review). Continue on the dirt farm road which travels right through a cornfield. After you go through the field you will see a post where a sign used to designate the boat launch.

Be careful of poison ivy!

And don't leave a mess for the farmer or some volunteer to clean up.
