A convenient rest area to stop along the road to fall leaf peeping destinations like the Golden Eagle Restaurant hairpin turn or the Mohawk Trail State Park. Few amenities — no restroom, but there’s a couple seating options and interpretive signs to check out. The stop has a great river view you have to scramble down to access. Live Parking only. If you drive 5 mins up the road there’s a better stop at the Mohawk State Park with more amenities.

Did a clean up here with Trout Unlimited and the Connecticut River Conservancy. Caught some nice trout out of the Deerfield River after as well, so that was nice.

Great place for a short rest, picnic, barbeque, or launch your kayak into deerfield river. There are some picnic tables and one pavilion there. You can either use the tables or go near the river and sit on the stones.
Great view near the river with beautiful relaxing sound of water.
There is no facility or trash bin on the site.

A very nice little spot you can get out sit by the Deerfield river and give your dog a break after 50 or minutes driving. I love everything about the berkshires.
