A cool place to visit and catch fish if you have a license to. Be on the look out for the fish ladder.

Living in Turners Falls this is the most beautiful entry/exit to the town. No matter what time of day tge expanse of this bridge never fails to show the lush foliage and serene river that it crosses. Sunsets and full moon nights are my favorite time to come into town as it showcases the multiple steeples band smokestacks that made up this beautiful old mill town. And more often than not you can find American Bald Eagles hunting above and around the area of the bridge, canal and forest.

The observation deck has a beautiful view of Bartons Cove and Unity Park. And underneath the deck is a fish ladder.

Good place to go-to under the bridge and take in the scenery and (man-made) waterfalls. Alot of fishers fish here, the canal is a little anxiety rising but over the rickety bridge to the little "island" is rewarding. Avoid at night.

Beautiful area. It's close to downtown TF and has amazing views of both Barton Cove and the lower River.
