So pretty. A bit scary walking to the center to see the river but definitely worth it. I will give you a little info about this bridge. My daughter & I sat there & ere approached by police. You can't sit more than 15 minutes. Tragically it is a bridge often used in suicides. They've put up higher fence now too.

French King Bridge is one of the coolest and scenic bridges in all of Massachusetts. It is located right on Route 2 between Erving and Gill. You are able to cross the bridge and park and walk along it. The views from the top of the bridge are really cool. There is a vantage point where you can park and walk to an area under the bridge. From here you can appreciate the beautiful architecture and scenic rivers. I highly recommend visiting in the fall especially as the colors are spectacular. If you are traveling along Route 2, stop by the French King Bridge!

Happened to be driving by and noticed the lamp posts in the bridge, so I pulled over into the lot and got out to take some pictures. Upon doing so I was caught up in the breath taking scenery around the area, on both sides.
One side has a nice walking path and a view of the river. The other side has a beautiful view of the lake and hills, but no walking area.
If you're out and about in the area, with the foliage and everything else right now, absolutely worth a stop
