This place was awesome. We took a little tour inside the Discovery Center and it was a lot fun; their display of the natural habitat of the area was very realistic and looked pretty cool. There was also a Native American Artist who was displaying her art in one part of the center and the art was amazing. There is plenty of parking around the center and it features picnic tables overlooking the Connecticut River.

What an absolute amazing addition to the area. My kids went on two different days of our vacation second time by request and they were super happy and engaged in every activity. The staff members were wonderful and very helpful and actively engaging with all the children. They helped them explore this place so much. Gave advice and information. There's a computer you can explore more on and the staff are more than willing to help and make sure the kids have a great time. There was so much provided here that we will be back a third and fourth time. Absolutely wonderful and free.

Great free stop off. Informative exhibition inside with lots of taxidermied animals. The river is just a short walk behind the building.

💵Free💵 Great town museum about the history of the land and the falls. Definitely worth checking out ans they have community events.

great place for walk, usually quiet but safe, nice sunset view.
The longer distance side is on the museum side but if you like shade, park and walk another side the river bank. The parking lot can be easily found on google map. This side may have cars but very very few, mostly from local fishing people.
