Visited once during fall season. It was beautiful under the blue sky. Visited again on 1st June,2024. There were fireworks from 9:15 pm and it was truly awesome. Not sure whether it’s a fix date every year. If you stay near by, dnt miss to experience this fireworks show.

Awesome moments at wethersfield cove

The cove is a beautiful place to relax, have a picnic, or take a boat out. It is connected directly to the Connecticut River, and nestled in an awesome, quaint area known as Old Wethersfield, which was originally settled by Europeans in the 1600s. I love coming here and enjoying the area. Historic locations, great food and ice cream, and then the cove to top it all off and relax somewhere nice.

Beautiful place to take in the scenery, and watch the birds do some fishing. If you like fishing this is one of the best places you can fish in CT.
