My wife and I were following the sculpture trail and there are two on this bridge. Beautiful views of the city and the Connecticut River.

Good viewing spot from this to see the down town roads , buildings and the river front. Adjacent to this has all the buildings and other attractions connecting . Beautifully constructed to walk over the bridge and view The places.

Beautiful historical bridge in Hartford, CT. Well maintained, nice views of the city. It’s not just a bridge, it’s a beautiful promenade with sculptures (the Lincoln Sculpture Walk) that follows a course through two riverside parks, one on each side of the river.

Another cool bridge along the Connecticut River that connects Hartford and West Hartford. The unique hollowed structure of the bridge's pillars makes the large area under the bridge a nice background for photographing. There is a large area under the bridge on the West bank along the Riverwalk for some nice shots. Highly recommended for a quick visit while in the Mortensen Riverfront Plaza. You'll also get to see the Connecticut River up close.

What a beautiful bridge! It's lined up by American flags, it has a wide pedestrian walkway with charming sculptures honoring Abraham Lincoln and the abolition of slavery, it crosses the Connecticut river like it's natural for it to do so. Plus it has majestic views during dawn and sunset.

It's an example of well-designed urban engineering.
