Not sure what the problem for some other reviewers was... but I'm so glad this train service exists. Super friendly most of the time, reasonably priced, connects seamlessly with MTA commuter rail in New Haven. Both allow bikes (though MTA has restrictions timewise). Maybe the schedules aren't the most precise, (sometimes they even leave a couple minutes early!) but just a great way to get down to NYC hassle-free. Looking forward to when the diesel locomotives get replaced with electric ones.

I’m surprised shoreline east is advertising on TV because they have nothing to offer accept delays and disappointments. Do not trust their online schedules as they are not up to date and often incorrect. They also replace trains with buses (which takes significantly longer) and it costs you the same price. This is what happens when public transportation loses funding.

I would literally cut off my own arms and legs and roll to were I needed to go before I would ever call these guys. This is certainly a company that deserves to get put out of business by Uber. This would say zero stars, but that's literally not an option.

Avoid this train at all cost. You’ll stop and wait 20-40 minutes before you can move again because it’s a single track they share with who knows how many other train lines. A train line that has no idea when it will leave or arrive is worse than no train at all
